Below are some activities if your child wanted to do them instead of the ones the sheet. Just mark it on the sheet. Please turn in the NTI Day 4 tomorrow. Thanks so much for all you do!!

Reviewing sight words is so important to keep a student remembering the words he/she already knows. Here is a fun sight word song to do this. Listen and sing it together. Pick one to two words your student struggled with and practice afterwards by writing or chanting.

Math:
We have been learning about 3D shapes. Here is a fun 3D shape song the students love. You could also go on a 3D shape hunt in your house looking for examples of cylinder, sphere, cone and cube.
We have also been working on easy addition, just recently using the actually + and = sign. You could make up some addition sentences under 10 and have your child write the addition sentence down.
Writing:
We have been working on writing informational pieces. You could look up any subject your child wants to learn about-- last week we focused on presidents. Then help your student write 1 to 2 facts sentences about it. I would love it if they turned these in and read them to our class!!

Focus- Adding story & Review writing rules- Have your child draw a picture of any adding story. Then you can help them write about it in a sentence. For example 1 bird joined 1 bird. It made 2 birds. Help your child leave finger spaces and punctuation. You can even write it for them and have them point out the finger spaces and put the punctuation in.
Again, if you have any questions, please email. Please feel free to send me pictures or post them on Facebook on our school page of your children doing NTI work
We so hope to see all your children on Monday!!! Mrs. Brannen & Team
